everything around is just black ashes, everythin has been burnt by the fire, but this one rose still lives, the only thing burnt but yet alive...
this is a photomanip i did on the pic of a rose i had in my garden. i dont usually like roses, so i tried to break the passion/love/blood bound that usually is seen in these flowers.
i tried to take it towards feeling that are nearer to myself, represented by the death / the ashes, the distructive power of the fire, and the rotten, but still alive, burnt rose. the lime green of the leaves should pull out some cold color in contrast with the red of the bud.
i like it... i dont usually like roses either, for some reason their scent freaks me out... but i like this, good job, i like what you wrote about it to
